“The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. ” (Psalm 24: 1)
You receive a letter notifying you that a distant relative has left you a huge inheritance in his will. You meet with the executor who asks you for proof of your identity. You produce your birth certificate. You receive your share of the estate and it’s party time. Whoop!
In the same way, as “children” of the Infinite, all good is ours by right, but in order to have it, you must stake your claim. First things first – you need to show proof of your identity.
How do you identify yourself? Do you see yourself as human with beliefs, feelings and thoughts, with labels that define how you live your life? Or do you identify yourself as the Infinite? If you know yourself to be Infinite, what proof have you got to show that you identify yourself as the Infinite? The human mind can’t cope with the concept of infinity, it goes round in circles trying to understand infinity. What does infinity mean when all around is evidence of finiteness? Here is one definition:
“The consciousness of a perfected yogi is effortlessly identified not with a narrow body but with the universal structure. Gravitation, whether the “force”of Newton or the Einsteinian “manifestation of inertia,” is powerless to compel a master to exhibit the property of weight: the distinguishing gravitational condition of all material objects. He who knows himself as the omnipresent Spirit is subject no longer to the rigidities of a body in time and space. The imprisoning “rings-pass-not” have yielded to the solvent: I am He.” (Autobiography of a Yogi, P Yogananda, p. 315)
When you identify yourself as Spirit, you are no longer experiencing the limitations of the flesh identity. Recently I had a migraine. I refused to identify myself as flesh and blood. When I remembered that I am Spirit with a body that is infinite, not limited to time and space, the migraine vanished. How? Since Spirit is infinite, either Spirit has a head as big as infinity or no head at all. This truth was manifested within my body as wholeness=no migraine.
Right now, there are many theories being put forward why humanity is experiencing lack and limitations, and why the minority own the wealth on earth. One theory is that there are hostile ETs working behind the scenes trying to manipulate reality. Their agents are manipulating humanity with various mind-control techniques to keep humanity ignorant of his true identity.
There is another theory that the minority who want to rule the world have written books like the Bible and other scriptures and even founded various religions, in order to distract the masses from the truth of who they are. This way, the masses remain helpless and look to someone else to save them, instead of realising that each man is his own saviour.
The problem with the reality we share is that you experience what you believe to be true. There are many books out there supporting both theories. While the writers and researchers mean well, these theories are smokescreens. I would say that the important questions are: Do you know who you are? Are you free? Are you living the life you want to live? What is your truth? I know that the scriptures contain clues about how people can realise their full potential. It matters not whether the historical accounts are fact or fiction, it’s about whether the teachings work for you or not.
I believe that one reason why as humans we suffer from fear and limitation is because we identify ourselves with the limited human form; which only has what he has in the physical sense. When you realise your identity is infinite, you also realise that the earth is yours; the universe is yours; all there is, is yours. And there is more than enough for everyone.
Great ideas and truth mean nothing if you are not able to apply them to your life. If we return to the quote at the beginning:
“The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.”
Replace the word “LORD” with Infinity or Spirit. When you know yourself as Spirit, it means you own everything. To put it another way, you could see Spirit as your Father-Mother, and you as the son/daughter. Either way you look at it, you and your Father-Mother are one and the same – infinite.
It is written that the biblical Jesus sent out two of his disciples to get a donkey which he needed. His instructions were as follows:
“Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.
And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.” (Matthew 21: 2-3)
Bearing in mind that the earth belongs to the Lord/Spirit, this story represents your right to your inheritance. The story teaches that whatever you need is available right now. All you have to do is claim it and nothing will get in the way.
Why would you need to claim what is yours? Because the universe needs proof of your identity. Your beliefs are both your proof of identity and claim to your inheritance. Remember that what you see around you is one mass of energy which reshapes itself according to your beliefs. When you are acting in accordance with your truth and claiming that truth, the universe supports you 100%.
See, when you believe yourself to be “only human” you get what you believe to be true. Humans are busy creating lack because they believe there’s not enough to go round. Is it any wonder why humans have devised rules to get one’s good, that you have to exchange something in return. Laws against stealing, killing and adultery only exist because of man’s failure to realise his true identity. When man realises that he is infinite and the earth is his, would he want to steal when he has more than enough? Where is the need to kill someone when you realise your nature is love?
There are those who will claim heresy. How can we compare ourselves to God? St Paul has written:
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. (Philippians 2: 5-6).
If you are too scared to admit the truth of who you are, you won’t be able to relate to what I’m saying. If you are letting others tell you to fear God or that you are a lowly mortal, this message is not for you. While I am writing this article as a reminder to myself, it is also a reminder to whoever finds it useful.
I know the Infinite is my Father-Mother, and as their daughter all that the Father-Mother has is mine. We are one and the same. So I put my claim forward and expect to receive what is mine.
Are you ready to stake your claim?
I am Spirit,
