I once read the following story in Al Koran’s book, “Bring Out the Magic in Your Mind.” A woman is dreading doing the household chores. She remembers she has an energy pill in her pocket that someone had given her. She swallows the pill and immediately has tons of energy. She does the work effortlessly. Later, she discovers the actual energy pill in her other pocket. She had taken her child’s sweet, believing it to be the energy pill.

I agree with Al Koran that the magic does not lie in the tablet. It matters not whether you swallow a pill, say a prayer or chant. Whatever method you use is a map to get to the Self, where the real magic lies. So it means trusting in yourself. If you have no self-belief you will move from teacher to teacher, therapist to therapist, until you discover that You are – and have always been – the Answer to what you seek.

Al Koran was a magician, way before my time, but I learned about him through my mother, who has his book. He performed tricks that astounded his audience and critics alike. Koran believed Love works magic. Love is the magnet. Koran was a believer…he believed in humanity and, most of all, he believed in the power within him.

I agree 100% with Al Koran about self-belief and loving all. When you have self-belief and love all, everything works out for good, per your definition of good, of course.
