1. Why is
this discussion forum called 'practical spirituality forum?'
Spirituality is usually not associated with being practical but for me it's the
only approach that is practical because it keeps me posted in what's
real. And what is more practical than working on the basis of reality?
Spirituality basically equals letting go of judgment - being open to All That
Is.
My judgment has no connection with the Truth whatever, but my timeless innocence
does.
Therefore, practical spirituality is actually saying the same thing twice:
keeping in touch with the one and only reality and inevitably making life much
more simple and joyful.
In short, I just couldn't think of a more appropriate theme for a forum.
2. What are the rules?
If Love is being accepted as what we are then the 'rules' can only be seen as
natural. Do we need rules to show each other respect? Do we need rules to take
our own views not too seriously and be light of heart? Do we need rules to
forgive ourselves and each other when we fail?
Aren't rules produced by the same mindset that causes them to be broken?
3. How is this forum set
up?
Maximum length of message: 15000 characters
Message subject (topic): 160 characters maximum
Author name: 40 characters maximum
HTML tags are accepted in the message body.
The dates of the most recent posts appear in a dark green color.
The [Overview] command in the navigation bar shows the top messages only for all threads.
The [Newest] command shows all messages on the page with the latest messages, whereby the threads with the most recent posts are on top of the list.
The [Previous] command does the same for pages with older messages.
The [Find] command opens a search form. Use the symbol | if you want to search for word1 OR word2 (delete|remove). If you do not enter a value for a field, that field won't be used in the search criteria. For example, if you only specify a date range and no value for others, the search will return all messages posted in that date range.
