Seek power? Power is meaningless by itself. Even worse power could be very dangerous when coupled with lack of wisdom. The unwise could easily become slaves of their own power and even be destroyed by it. The wise simply avoid it whenever possible. How to be loyal to God? Jesus Christ spelled it out very clearly for all who still have had doubt in their hearts. The supreme commandment he gave, above any of the ten, is simply to love. How much a better place would the world be if all people were seeking love above everything else - not love coming to them, but love coming from them for once? Love, Elin |
