This seems an easier time of year to express love because in many traditions we are getting ready to give gifts to our loved-ones.

But it is really in the gift of loving kindness in all our interactions that we express the intent and meaning of a Holy-Day. Loving kindness makes every one of our actions a gift; increasing harmony in our personal life, and in those whose lives we touch.

Loving kindness costs nothing and gives so much: joy to us immediately in our loving, caring act because we instantly feel good; joy in the lives of those we lavish with loving kindness.

It is a win-win act; what goes out from us in love returns to us in increased harmony in our lives and the world. Peace begins with me, and love begins with the part of me that is an eternal fount of joy, flowing forth enriching my own and other's lives in its expression.

Let's make every day part of a Holy-Day season with our expressions of loving kindness.
