Dear Gareth and everyone, My opinion of love with a partner seems just as you describe it. Love experienced deeply with a partner can grow to feeling caring love for family, friends, community, world, universe - and not just people, but every aspect of creation. Loving one person deeply is a fast-track to experiencing Divine Love, unconditional love. And in communion with the Divine, in communion or unconditional love with all we discover a depth of happiness and joy that is ever there; a never-ending flow of energized warmth. I think that true love is carrying the love of the Divine into practical everyday living. Related link: Writings for all ages... |
