I truly enjoyed reading your passage and it reminded me of something that my brother once said. He said, "Love is an action, not an emotion." I was confused at first, and wondered if he felt that way because of our abusive childhood. I can see that when it is not said, or expressed in deed, we may not be aware of it. Understanding that God's love requires our faith in his existence, I still know of it because I was blessed by his touch. So, is love an action or an emotion? Is it both?
